Information written here was for use with Marine Aquariums, but will show you why you should use my lights over Halides for your plants as well.

Now Some Tech Stuff About This Incredible Light
The lamp is a 65 watt compact fluorescent lamp, rated to deliver 4550 brightness lumens (70 Lumens Per Watt) and is 6500 degrees Kelvin. Some eBayers has asked the LUX of this light. Lux is just another light measurement term and relates to Lumens or foot candles. Easy explanation is that 1 LUX = 1 Lumen per Square Meter. It has to do with the light intensity and the larger the area being illuminated by the light the weaker the amount of LUX or light intensity. So a light that illuminates at 100 Lumens in a Square Meter would have a 100 Lux Output. Take that light and illuminate 10 square meters and it would now have a LUX of 10. It has an expected lifetime of 10,000 hours, so you don't have to worry about changing it for years. Using all of the visible colors in sunlight, the value of a a light source is measured by how well it renders all colors of the visible spectrum. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is measured on a scale of 1-100 this lamp measures approximately 84 CRI. The light provides an exceptional blue-rich light made up of pure white light with a high CRI which results in create color and contrast and an overall sharper images.
Regular light bulbs provide an orange reddish tint on objects and ordinary fluorescent bulbs can cause a head aches and eyestrain and not offer your plants the rich Blue-White light sources that will encourage photosynthesis and plant health and growth.

Why select this light over other lights?
Not just because it is more efficient, cheaper to operate and offers better quality of light, but because other lights are HOT and cannot be used effectively for starting seeds or growing delicate flowers like orchids without proper ventilation. Custom Modified By Hand, Using Quality Parts
I have custom retrofitted each one of these lights for indoor use. Each light takes about 45 minutes for the retrofit modification and I only use the finest quality parts for this process. The entire light is disassembled and hand rewired, then reassembled. Then I hand make each and every hanging harness myself.
Once done, I package all the extra hardware and instructions and carefully repack them in their original carton. Then I pack this carton in another carton using sheets of styrofoam on the top and bottom to prevent any shipping damage. Here's Why
A new eBayer from Canada purchased a grow light from me on eBay. He wanted to send me a personal check for payment on a $80 sale (even though my terms clearly state he cannot). He was told this was not acceptable and to send an international money order (he didn't have a Pay Pal account or any positive feedback). After 12 days no payment was received and when I asked if the payment was mailed he told me to "F" Off and to stop being a bill collector and not to email him any more.
I had no choice but to Void this auction at which point he decided to leave me a negative feedback for "voiding the auction". Four weeks later payment still never showed up, obviously because he really never sent it...another eBay scammer...and I ended up with a negative feedback. Some times you just can't win.
